These doors are designed and made by master craftsman Steve Gray, who has over three decades of experience in fine custom metal working and making airtight wood burning appliances.

With airtight woodburning doors like these, with an air wash, you can turn your masonrly fireplace into what is essentially a giant woodstove capable of heating a large building.

The air wash comes right out advanced clean-burning wood stove technology, and these doors are the onlyones that offer it.

These doors are very airtight because each door closes tightly against the front of the main frame

Masonry fireplaces only! I make fireplace doors for solid masonry fireplaces only. I don't make fireplace doors for or install them into metal fireplaces, which are called zero clearance or tin can fireplaces by builders. A masonry fireplace that has a steel shell heatolator inside it is still a masonry fireplace.
