These doors are designed and made by master craftsman Steve Gray, who has over three decades of experience in fine custom metal working and making airtight wood burning appliances. Each door frame is cut out of a single piece of solid half inch thick steel plate and then all the edges are carefully ground, polished, and rounded off so they don't look like they just got stamped out of a machine, like some other brands do. The reason you can get this kind of quality for these prices is because there are no middle men.

With airtight woodburning doors like these, with an air wash, you can turn your masonrly fireplace into what is essentially a giant woodstove capable of heating a large building.

The air wash comes right out advanced clean-burning wood stove technology, and these fireplace doors are the only ones that offer it.

These doors are very airtight because each door closes tightly against the front of the main frame

Every fireplace doorset I make is elegant, highly efficient, and very rugged. They are such high quality and so solid that when you close the doors it sounds like a shutting the door on a safe. Try that on some thin foactory doors.

There are many finishes available, for a detailed explanation please click here: Types of finishes

Special Neoceram glass is available for heavy duty heating units, to see if you should get it click here: Neoceram Glass

Since the fireplace doors which are heating units are airtight and have a high efficiency controlled combustion system they can easily heat your home. For a detailed explanation of the engineering and physics of how they heat please click here: How Heating units work

When you get these doors installed in your home you can be proud to know you have the best, made for you personally by a master craftsman. These doors will turn your fireplace into a thing of beauty and make your home feel warm and inviting for a long time to come.

Masonry fireplaces only! I make fireplace doors for solid masonry fireplaces only. I don't make fireplace doors for or install them into metal fireplaces, which are called zero clearance or tin can fireplaces by builders. A masonry fireplace that has a steel shell heatolator inside it is still a masonry fireplace.
