Twenty acre pieces of land around here that aren't as nice as this one are selling for $90+K each, and this 47 acre piece can be divided into two pieces larger than 20 acres. There is also a great deal of privacy protected from hunters, poachers, and 4 wheelers because I have made a massive steel gate that the United Nations would be proud of, and it is located a ways down the valley.

Located close to both Leavenworth and Wenatchee, this is an awesome piece of land, and it is only a ten minute drve to downtown Cashmere. Very special, there is nothing like Tripp Canyon anywhere else in the county, the giant cliffs make it feel like The red rock areas you see in Utah, except the rocks aren't red.

There is National forest land and BLM land on two and a half sides of the property so you really have access to many hundreds of acres of incredible mountain scenery that for practical purposes is all yours to use and quite inaccesible to others.

There is a stream that runs down the bottom of the Canyon and it almost always runs all year.

There are all kinds of wild edible fruits and vegetables there and a lot of wild animals frequent the area, including bears, cougars, hawks, turkeys, Marmots, swallows, and many other kinds of birds. The insects are not a problem and it is comfortable to be outside without needing mosquito protection.

Located about five miles from shopping in downtown Cashmere, so it is close in in a way, in addition to being 'far out'. Many more shopping opportunities in the relatively large city of Wenatchee, and the beautiful Bavarianvillage of Leavenworth, each of whic is about twenty miles away.

There is a nice dirt road going up the Canyon, people a little further down live there year around. It requires an AWD vehicle to get up and down the road when it is muddy in the spring, and all the neighbors take turns plowing the road when it has snow on it, so you would want to get a snow plow for your 4WD or hire one of the others if you live there all year around.

I will get a map and post it, but if you search and go about 2 miles South from Cashmere on Mission Creek road, then turn West up Tripp Canyon, it's about another two miles. I've seen trip Canyon name listed onsome internet sites, either google earth, or google maps, or both.

Zoning is either forestry (growing trees) or residential, with 20 acre minimum lot sizes.

Elevation goes from about 1200 ft at the bottom of the Canyon up to over 2000 ft on the ridge tops.

You can build on it, a house and/or a shop. Everyone in the canyon has wells, they're no problem. There is power going most of the way up the road but not all the way, it can be extended of course.
